January is going to be a crazy month!!!

Here are three reasons why:

  1. We are still seeing record breaking sales of Code Name: Indestructible.  Have you got a copy yet?
  2. We have a Primal Move Certification scheduled for January 26th with the amazing Miss Adrienne Harvey
  3. We have an RKC Re-Certification scheduled for January 27th with Master RKC Phil Ross.

Can this month get any better?
BTW - couldn't resist the opportunity to share this great poster for the events... what a cool idea!!! I know it doesn't fit the current marketing for either event but I think it is very cool! :)

Is Gun Control Working?

Take a look at the following image and tell me that gun control is not working.  Can the same be said about cancer or heart disease?  How about automobiles or prescription drugs?  What about hospitals?  Check out the leading causes of death and you'll see that homicide and Parkinson's Disease tied for last place...

Do we need more gun control laws or do we really need more personal responsibility and better mental health care?  Think before you point your finger at guns as the cause of violence; knives, automobiles, fire and parents are exponentially more dangerous than guns.

A Warrior is Many Things

A Warrior is many things.  To the uninitiated the Warrior is a study in contradictions.  To those who have walked the path they completely understand.

A Warrior is strong, disciplined, dedicated and stalwart.  He is ready, willing and able to strike down his adversaries and protect those who cannot protect themselves.

A Warrior is also loving, compassionate, kind and forgiving.  He is fully capable of lending a helping hand or offering a kind word to someone in need and is not afraid to give freely of his time, resources and love to those who require it.

Are you a Warrior?

Common Sense in Training

Seems like the people that want to train in the "advanced" techniques have no business doing so.  Instead of learning the foundational elements of the system they insist that they are ready for more... really?  The most productive time you can invest in your training is in revisiting the basic techniques that comprise the system.  Leave the complex choreographed moves for the next "Bourne" movie and focus on what matters: a devastating coupled within an iron-clad defense.

Firearm Control Tactics

Carrying a firearm and being able to use it combatively requires more than just accuracy standing at the 25-yard line popping off rounds.  You need to be able to retrieve, fire and control the weapon in all situations.  Check out what my friend Bryan Mossey is working on at the Pedro Sauer Academy.
