Extreme Marksman - The Whip

I've had the pleasure of working with Anthony DeLongis on a couple of occasions and am honored to call him a friend. Anthony is a gifted and talented martial artist and a great teacher - work with him if you get the chance! The following video highlights Anthony's whip skills which are amazing to watch and scary to be at the other end of. BTW - check out the background of the video. It was shot at Anthony's ranch in California... do you understand now why I enjoy visiting his place when I'm on the West Coast? :)

Combat Pistol Craft

I've always tried to keep my firearms skills up to date but "back in the day" when we just to be range rats we'd piss off the old Range Masters with the crazy scenarios we would do in order to simulate "real life" shooting.  Nowadays everyone is doing it!!! :)

The following video is by Gabe Suarez and he demonstrates some interesting gun craft.  I haven't trained with Mr. Suarez yet - but he's on my short-list of people I need to meet and work with.  Enjoy the video and contemplate if your firearms skills are functional or fictional.

Interesting Application of FMA Skills

Aside from the obvious knife skills that are displayed in the video below there are a couple really interesting applications of the pistol and baton.  Take a look and see if you can recognize which FMA system the instructor has trained in.  Enjoy!
