Developing Your Holding Skills

Holding the Focus Mitts ("Pads") looks easy but anyone who has put in any amount of time on either end of them know that this is as far from the truth as you can get.  A bad holder can destroy your timing and smother your technique... not to mention frustrate the heck out of you.  A good holder can tighten up both your offense and defense as well as enhancing your timing and reaction speed.  A truly great holder can turn someone who is timid and unsure of their skills into a technically aggressive and formidable fighter.
